Not out…..
On the cricket pitch he was not able to give his best but he did not loose hope, while handling the balance sheet as a commerce aspirant he started cricket coaching for students to fullfill his dream of playing CRICKET. Being a die hard fan of master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, he decided to dedicate himself to coaching of cricket for next three years.
This is the story of Mayur Makar who stays at the foothills of Parvati in Pune. He stays in a small house with his family. He secured first class in twelfth standard making his parents proud. He is studying in Maharashtra College of Commerce in First year of Bcom. Mayur use to love playing cricket from his childhood and it became his passion. he says by watching Sachin Tendulkar playing cricket is passion for the game also increased. He said he will dedicate his next three years for cricket to become a successful player and at present wants to establish his position as a cricket coach.

Now as a student of first year B.com and working as assistant coach at ‘cricket next academy’ he handles this double responsibility. Beside this he teaches cricket to students of 8-14 years of age at Katariya high school .. Showing his passion towards cricket he got a chance to play with Maharashtra premier league and working there as a assistant coach.
Mayur specially thanks ‘Children’s Future India’ for their constant support and helping him and his family financially. He thanks the organization for providing him with traveling fare and the cricket kit. He says because of their support I am able to reach at this position.
He does not regret that he has to handle both his studies and the game of cricket. His morning starts early with attending college from 7.00 in morning 11.30am, he cannot attend all the lectures as he has to take practice of the students. In afternoon he comes home to have his food and then goes to collage library for studies and then again goes on ground to coach his students. He says it becomes very late to reach home due to his hectic schedule, but he enjoy this!! He thinks nowadays cricket has become only rich people's game and it is, but mayur says that with his ambition and passion he will be a successful player…
On behalf of CFI and CFN sponsors, well wishers we wish that Mayur achieve's his goals and make a mark for himself!
